A Fresh and Fragrant Homemade Jam
Lavender Berry Chia Seed Jam blends the natural sweetness of berries with floral lavender notes. This easy, quick recipe is a favorite of mine because it offers a fresh, homemade alternative to store-bought jams, without the need for cooking or canning. The simple ingredients and easy prep make it a go-to whenever I have fresh berries or want to add a special touch to my breakfasts and snacks.
To make it, simmer your favorite berries—strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries—with honey or maple syrup. As the berries break down, the kitchen fills with a mouthwatering aroma. Dried lavender adds a calming, unique flavor that balances the tart berries. Stir in chia seeds, which thicken the jam while boosting fiber, omega-3s, and antioxidants. In just minutes, the jam thickens to a spreadable consistency, ready to enjoy.

One of the reasons this Lavender Berry Chia Seed Jam is a favorite of mine is its versatility. It can be made in small batches and stored in the fridge for up to a week, making it a convenient option for busy mornings or impromptu gatherings. I love spreading it on toast or dolloping it over yogurt and granola for a quick, nutritious breakfast. It also pairs beautifully with cheeses, making it a lovely addition to a charcuterie board or an elegant topping for desserts like cheesecake or panna cotta. The combination of the sweet berries and the aromatic lavender makes each bite feel like a little luxury.
